Exam Outline

Here's the outline for your exam....

40 Multiple Choice - some multiple answers -

10 Definitions - Define 10 out of 14 terms - 1 mark each

9 True or False with Corrections - correct underlined word if you choose False

10 Mix and Match - probably the easiest section

26 SHORT Answers - 8 questions with marks ranging from 2 to 5 for each question.

25 LONGER Answers - Must answer 1 out of 2, 10 mark questions ie (you have choice) and
then 3 questions worth 5 marks each (no choice here).

22 DIAGRAMS - 22 different labels (skeletal, muscular, heart)

TOTAL 142 Marks

I left the nervous system off of the course outline....you should be aware of concussions, motor units, efferent/afferent nerves and the major divisions in the nervous system, however there are not a lot of marks on the exam.

Any questions email me at physed@cogeco.ca

HINTS: Know the difference between isometric and isotonic contractions and the difference
between concentric and eccentric contractions.
